Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully the booking rules below. Each booking, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The agreement is binding for the person making the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned therein, including minors.



You can send an availability request and wait for our response. You can book online by following the instructions available on our website


Following the request, an offer (non-binding) will be sent to you. The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication showing the total price of the stay and the payment of the deposit. The deposit has to be made within 3 days from our confirmation. If the payment is not made within the requested time, the reservation is to be meant as void.

The reservation becomes binding only upon receipt of a copy of the payment receipt of the confirmation deposit or of the credit card details on which to make the authorized withdrawal.

At this point, Hotel Ede will undertake to send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in. Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms. We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to notify us of any anomalies as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 4 days from its receipt. After this deadline, we decline any responsibility for any inaccuracies. Upon arrival, it is mandatory to present a valid identification document for each person. To make any changes to your booking, you need to contact the reception staff, who will do everything possible to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee the fulfilment of this request. If the booking is moved to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference. The extension of the stay requires an additional reservation and is subject to availability and rate changes.



General Conditions

A deposit is required (excluding tourist tax and optional services) no later than 3 days from the date of booking confirmation. In case of non-receipt of the deposit by the dates indicated, the reservation is void. The same goes for balance. In case of non-payment of the balance, the reservation will be cancelled. The amount of the deposit is equal to 30% of the amount of the stay.

As required by the civil code in art. 1385, will not be refunded in case of cancellation or non-presentation.

Payment methods accepted: bank transfer and credit card.

The balance of the reservation must be paid upon arrival at the facility. Any extras must be paid for before departure.

by e-mail: indicating the date of your booking, telephone number and e-mail address. The transfer must be made within 3 days from the booking date.



The EDE Hotel reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the customer's arrival by requesting a pre-authorization from the relevant circuit. With the pre-authorization, the hotel guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorization expires automatically after 20 days from the requested date, and the amount is released. In the case of pre-authorization with a negative result, the customer will be notified, and the reservation will be cancelled. In this case, the hotel will have no obligation towards the customer.



Sojourn tax

Established by the municipality of Caramanico Terme, the tourist tax about the type of hotel is € 0.35 per day per person (excluding children under 14). This is not included in the room rate and must be paid directly on-site by our guests, in cash, except for the exemptions and reductions provided for by the municipal regulation available on the website:




Cancellation Policy (Individual)

Any cancellation of a booking must be communicated in writing. For cancellation conditions, please refer to your booking confirmation.

In case of cancellation of the stay:

Up to 10 days before arrival at the hotel, cancellation is free.

In case of cancellation of the stay from 10 days before arrival at the hotel, the deposit paid will not be returned.


In case of cancellation of the stay from 3 to 1 day before arrival at the hotel or in case of no show due to No Show, 100% will be charged.

Cancellations for holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Easter, etc.) or high season (23 July-5 September): will be accepted up to one week before the check-in date.

The EDE Hotel reserves the right to credit the total amount due in case of cancellations after this period.

No reimbursement is due to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore is required to pay the entire booked stay


In case of no show, the deposit will be withheld, or the cost of the stay will be charged to the credit card given as a guarantee.



Booking and Cancellation Policy (Groups)

By making a reservation, the person who completes the process is identified as the contact person of the group and confirms that the other participants authorize him to adhere to the Booking Conditions and the Cancellation Policy of the EDE Hotel. The group contact is responsible for the total billing for all bookings confirmed by him. Requests after the expiry date must be communicated directly and exclusively by the group leader.


To confirm the reservation, a deposit of 30% to 50% of the total booked services will be required. The confirmatory deposit is never refundable.

Rooming list:

The contact person of the group is responsible for sending the final guest list as soon as possible and in any case not less than 10 days before arrival.

Cancelled reservations will be subject to penalties as follows:

In case of cancellation of the stay:

Up to 30 days before arrival at the hotel, cancellation is free.


In case of cancellation of the stay up to 29 days before arrival at the hotel, an amount equal to 100% of the deposit paid will be charged.

In the case of "no show" or early departure, a penalty equal to 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

Early departures will be charged for the entire booked stay.

Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.




Causes of force majeure

The management declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure. We decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, by atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and theft.

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. While we will endeavour to accommodate you in all requests, as long as these are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request will be met. We will not be able to accept bookings in which a particular condition of fulfilment of a special request is specified. All bookings will be treated as "standard" bookings subject to the above provisions of special requests. In case of health problems or disabilities that could affect the course of your holiday, please notify us before confirming your booking. Suppose we reasonably believe that we cannot meet the particular needs you have indicated. In that case, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if this information is not received at the time of booking, it will not subsequently be taken into consideration.

Travel documents

You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to travel documents not in order, you are unable to make or complete your stay and we will not be responsible for any additional costs that you may incur as a result.
